I wanted to write a quick article to ensure you that Johnreu.com did not show up just to go away. No sir. Now, I understand that you will want to see news all the time but sadly news can be slow! You can help me out by sending your experiences and pictures to admin @ johnreu.com. I would love to hear from fellow John Reuben fans.

With that said I created JohnReu.com in a way that it would not need news or new content to entertain people. If you sign up for an account you can mingle with fans and see what I mean! Check out the activity section to see what fellow Reuben fans are doing. The forums are also up if you have random or on topic things to say!

Lastly, I want to invite everyone to find me on twitter @johnreudotcom. If you love Johnreu.com make sure you
send John a message and tell him about the site! He is away of it but I would love some more notice. The more notice, the more members. The more members, the more fun it is for everyone else. Also, if there are resources available you can find links to buy tickets and maps to the location of the venue. Also, you can view the RSS feed that lists the upcoming shows in a simpler, portable format. You can get access to a link for an ical compatible calendar and add the dates to your google calendar.

Not that it has taken a year to create, but that the idea has been stirring for that long and probably longer. But the wait is over, it’s time to unveil Johnreu.com. What is Johnreu.com? Well first you need to know who John Reuben is, check that out on the about page.

Now, what is Johnreu.com? Johnreu.com builds off of Wordpress and Buddypress. Basically, Johnreu is a fansite with all the typical information like tour dates and song lyrics but thanks to Buddypress it is also a full blown social networking site. That means you can register an account, maintain a profile, have friends and plenty more.

Why? I say why not? I believe that John deserves a fully interactive website where his fans and future fans can get the full experience as well as socialize with one another. Social networks are all the rage for a reason. People like to learn but they also like to share their own opinions. With that in mind I created Johnreu.com

For current Reuben fans and those to come I welcome you and hope you enjoy the website.
